BUGPACK™ History,
BUGPACK™ was founded in 1968 in a Fountain Valley, California garage by Ed Fulton. The original catalog barely had 50 part numbers and dealt primarily with Dune Buggy and “Baja Bug” components. The company grew dramatically in the 1970’s and embarked on an ambitious campaign to acquire small manufacturers of specialized Volkswagen components and bring them all under one roof. In all, BUGPACK has acquired some twenty companies over the years, and is now the industry’s leading primary manufacturer of parts and accessories for Volkswagen automobiles.

PROTHANE™ History,
PROTHANE™ was founded in 1991 when it acquired a little known manufacturer by the name of BC Engineering. At the time, BC offered less than 100 part numbers, mostly for trucks. But it’s special formulations, precise engineering methods and attention to customer needs caught our eye. Well the rest, as they say, is history and we now offer the most extensive line of urethane based performance products for cars and trucks on the planet.
